I went to the gym this morning, mostly doing a one-hour and a half class as well as one hour of cycling on the stationary bicycle. I returned home and ate my lunch. It was a beautiful spring day — sunny, warm, and breezy, as well as very peaceful. I decided to go for a stroll on the UC Irvine campus, which is nearby. While walking on campus, I noticed a small dog on a leash excitedly chasing the Delivery Bot and wanting to attack it, which was cute. Many students were relaxing in Aldrich Park on blankets, and there was one hammock set up. I continued to walk, often taking shortcuts through the park until I reached Rowland Hall building. I noticed FREE PALESTINE written with chalk on the ground, as well as other writings. Ahead of me, I noticed barriers set up in a circular form, around the encampment of student tents as well as food, water, and other needed items. There were many handmade signs hanging as well as chalk writings on the ground. It was very quiet and peaceful, probably because the Pro-Israel side wasn’t there.
