When I was cycling at the gym this morning, I noticed a Youtube video about Anneliese Michel. In 2005, I remember watching the movie, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, in the theater. This movie was based on a true story about Anneliese Michel, who is a very religious, Roman Catholic, German girl. When she went to college, she started seeing weird things. Psychiatrists gave her drugs for certain psychological issues, but these drugs weren’t helping her. The drugs were actually making her feel worse. Being very religious, her parents took her to their priest. He took her off her prescribed medication to perform an exorcism. They soon realized that Lucifer was insider her, and he didn’t want to leave her body.
According to the movie, Emily Rose seemed intelligent because she was fluent in many languages as well as she took all kinds of courses. When Lucifer was inside her, she would speak in Latin with the priest.
