My Errands Weekend Workout

This weekend, my workout was walking at the mall, specifically South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California.
On Saturday, I walked 2.3 miles, 5,550 steps, and one floor, probably within a two-hour period.
On Sunday, I decided to do errands, looking for a half-pearl embellishment piece that fell off my Karl Lagerfeld combat boots. That same piece had fallen off before, a month ago, but I still had it, and I glued it back on. Now, I am not sure where it fell off. So, I decided to drive around local areas where they sell arts & crafts as well as The Dollar Store for 2022 calendars. I know I have seen these embellishment pieces somewhere, but I couldn’t remember which store. First, I went to The District in Tustin because there is a Michaels there, but the item was out of stock. So, I drove to Santa Ana, which is across the street from the Costa Mesa mall. I bought two one-dollar calendars as well as three one-dollar DVDs, before driving to the next block to check out the Michaels in Santa Ana. Then, I walked around inside South Coast Plaza, which was very crowded at the mall. I also walked across the street to the Metropointe outlets to look there. I stopped by Hobby Lobby, but they were closed on Sunday. So, I drove to Joann’s in Irvine, which is across the street from The District. I found some that look similar to the other flat-back pearl embellishment on my boots. I decided to also buy a pack of sewing machine needles for my Brother machine because I had broken the original one while trying to sew my old denim pants. What do I know about sewing? I just jump into everything and wing it, learning the hard way how to do things. I just like fixing small tears or renovating old clothes that I still like. I still want to check Hobby Lobby to see what they have anyway. Maybe I will go on Monday.
I was hungry when I arrived home. And, so was my cat. I fed him first because he is my kid. Then, I made my early dinner.
I noticed that I had walked 4.1 miles and 9,578 steps today in different areas, but all local. And, of course, I drove, from one area to the next because this is California and you cannot go anywhere here without a car.
